We had a Colorado & Emory Lunch Gathering with 24 people, including Dr. Martha Palmer (CU), Dr. James Martin (CU), Dr. Alexis Palmer (CU), Dr. Dan Jurfsky (Stanford), Dr. Dmitriy Dligach (Loyola), Dr. Sameer Pradhan (LDC), Dr. Fei Liu (Emory), and Dr. Jinho Choi (Emory).

Dr. Martha Palmer won the Lifetime Achievement Award and Dr. Joakim Nivre won the Distinguished Service Award this year, who happen to be Dr. Jinho Choi’s dissertation committee chair and member.
